Nora/About
Atlas AI · the company behind Nora

We named her Nora
because the operator is real.

Atlas AI builds AI operators for the businesses that hold everyday life together. We started with home care — because that's where Nora was already running one.

Origin · 01

Why we built Nora.

An honest letter from the people who started it.

From the foundersMay 2026 · San Francisco

The first home care agency we ever sat with was run by one person.

She kept a spreadsheet for the schedule, a folder of résumés on her desktop, a notebook for medications, and a laundry basket full of receipts for the accountant. She told us she hadn't taken a real weekend in six years. She also told us she could not, for any amount of money, find anyone she trusted to do the job the way she did it.

That person is Nora. She has been a Virtual Assistant for home care agencies for three years. People who reach her for the first time often say the same thing: “You sound like AI.” She gets that, exactly, every single week.

So we built an operator modeled on the way she runs the work — patient with caregivers, fast with families, relentless about the details — and we gave it her name.

Nora the product runs the schedule, picks up the phones, keeps the chart, sends the invoice, and follows up so nothing falls through the cracks. It works the hours the agency actually runs, not just business hours. And it gets better, week over week, because it's one operator running across every agency that signs up.

We are not on the cover of magazines yet. We're working with a handful of agencies in private, learning what Nora needs to do before we open the gates. If running yours has started to feel like you're the only one who can — write to us.

The operator

Nora knows the work.

Three years running a Virtual Assistant for home care agencies. The reason families call back. The reason caregivers stay. The reason this product exists.

“You sound like AI.”— Every new family, on the first call
What we believe · 03

The work comes first.
The tool disappears into it.

i.

An operator, not software.

Tools wait for someone to click them. Operators act. We build operators.

ii.

One system, not ten.

Every handoff is a place something breaks. Nora is one continuous agent across the whole agency.

iii.

Awake, always.

Call-outs at 5 a.m. Renewals at midnight. Inbound leads on Saturday. The agency runs around the clock. So do we.

iv.

Aligned with the owner.

Priced on what Nora produces, not how many seats it consumes. We win when the agency wins.

v.

Patient with people.

Caregivers are not a queue. Families are not a ticket. Nora is built to listen first.

vi.

Honest about stage.

We will tell you what works and what doesn't. We will not sell you something we have not shipped.

Team · 04

Small by design.

A small team that talks to every agency directly. If we get bigger, this section gets longer.

Co-founder · Engineering

In the room with you.

Built the agent. Son of an owner who ran a home care business for eight years — heard about the 5 a.m. call-out at the dinner table. Picks up the phone when an owner has a question. Writes most of the code Nora runs on.

Co-founder · Operations

The real Nora.

Runs Nora, the Virtual Assistant practice the product is named for. Daughter of a caregiver who has been at it for fifteen years. Tells us what the operator needs to do next. Final word on anything caregiver-facing.
